We have been working with Riot Games on it’s leading free to play game League of Legends from 2010 to end of 2014. ICO was the main contact for European media and managed press relations, event support and translated and sent out press releases and news contacts on behalf of Riot to European media. Born Ready Games – How to kickstart
Strike Suit Zero / client since 2012
ICO is working with the indie developer Born Ready Games on their space combat game Strike Suit Zero since 2012. Besides managing European PR and providing market intelligence, ICO also consulted the Guildford based studio when doing it’s first crowdfunding campagin on Kickstarter.
This included estimating further development costs and with this information setting suitable funding goal, as well as preparing the Kickstarter presence of Born Ready Games. In the end the project got funded and even exceeded the set goal of $100.000 by getting a funding pool of $174,804.
Shiro Games – Indie success story
Evoland / Evoland 2 / client since 2013
ICO Partners has so far worked on every game in the portfolio of the French indie developer Shiro Games. This included communication and campaigning with European press and also consulting during the game development and marketing process. For Shiro’s debut Evoland the effort in the end paid off with over 400.000 sold copies of the game and a sequel already in the making.
