ICO Partners is looking for a social media and influencer marketing manager to join our multinational team. We’re based in the vibrant city of Brighton, UK and looking for someone who can  join us to oversee a varied number of video games clients.

The ideal candidate is someone with some video games industry experience working in social media and influencer management. 

You will be joining a close knit team of people from all over the world in our Brighton office (when its safe), working on cool projects, building exciting campaigns and pushing the boundaries of communications within the games industry.

You are: Someone with passion for video games, communicating about them and keen to help teams around the world reach new heights. 

What you bring to the team:

  • Fluent English speaker with strong spoken and written communication skills. Additional language skills are a plus.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a social media and influencer marketing role, ideally managing campaigns and activations. 
  • An interest for media relations, social media, influencer marketing or community management. 
  • Understanding of the video games media landscape and industry at UK level a plus. 
  • Focused, able to prioritize tasks based on timeliness 
  • Comfortable working in multicultural teams and across languages (we use English across the team).
  • Happy to multitask between clients as needed.
  • Interested in video games, news and trends. 
  • Excited to learn about communications best practices, executing new projects and work methodologies. 

What you will be doing:

  • Managing social media and influencer marketing projects and working with the rest of project managers on multiple titles, from big games coming from well known studios to small, independent ones. 
  • Strategizing, planning and executing exciting social media campaigns across a variety of projects as well as taking ownership of ICO’s own social media presence.  
  • Managing relationships with content creators and key stakeholders across selected European territories for influencer marketing campaigns, mostly on YouTube and Twitch. 
  • Working closely with the ICO team to create and implement publishing plans, schedules and calendars across influencer marketing and social media. 
  • Connecting with content creators and clients in the games industry, as well as doing research and maintaining our internal lists. 
  • Attending major international and local industry events, learning about trends and making connections with people, supporting our client presence as needed, when is safe to do so again. 
  • Content creator outreach, collection and analysis of content. 
  • Social media tracking, reporting of key metrics for clients and internally. 
  • Supporting our business intelligence projects to help our partners make informed decisions for their publishing strategy on the social media and influencer marketing areas. 
  • Working with teams of all sizes and profiles, from triple A to indie.
  • Playing and testing video games as needed.

Remuneration : DOE

Location:  Remote start until is safe to relocate. After that, on-site at our Brighton, UK office ideally. (Relocation package available)

Hours:  Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
